Best Choice we ever made. We really wanted a puppy when our dog of 13 years past away. It had to be a good fit both for us and a new puppy.We looked everywhere and I was getting sad.I did not want to buy an expensive dog that look like it wasnt cared for. Honestly most animal stores are disgusting, smelly and the animals are not cared for properly and are over priced and often not pure bred. This is the cleanest Animal shop I have ever been in. I fell in love with my little girl boxer Genevieve and the staff really do care about the animals. We buy all our dogs supplies here, and take her to visit the staff, and she does remember them.

My puppy purchase
Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! This is , by far , THE GREATEST PLACE TO BUY A NEW PUPPY!!! I bought a new baby poodle here. The Staff was Wonderful and Friendly they All greeted me with a smile. They were very helpful and very loving to their pets. It was like they almost hated to part with them. The puppies were very healthy. The place was clean. The puppies were all chubby , well fed and watered. They were all very playful not lithargic in the least. They make you clean your hands before handling them and take care not to put puppies together that haven't been together before to avoid disease as much as possible. They have their own Vet that looks after them. They pay for your first Vet visit however, I also took my puppy to my Vet and he confirmed " I have a wonderful healthy pup" My puppy did have a touch of kennel cough This kind of like a flu they can get when you have a lot of puppies in one place , not unlike when you have a bunch of kids in a Pre K. They are more likely to get a s"sniffle". They sent me to their Vet at no cost to me. The Vet prescribed an antibiotic that was very expensive and I had to get at a local pharmacy. I paid $37.99 for the medicine.I took the receipt back to Petland and Ben , the owner is TRUE TO THEIR WORD and their GUARANTEE , they wrote me a check for the entire amount on the spot! Now the kennel cough is gone. I now have this wonderful , healthy playful loving ( and mischeiveous) puppy , that thinks she's the Queen of the house!!! She's brought us so much Joy! I got her at a very good price ( Thank you Taylor! ). She is Registered and Ricky did a superb job in arranging financing and carefully going through all of my papers and perks.She also was great with following up afterwards! I also want to thank Tyler for helping choose a puppy and Gloria for her help. I have NO REGRETS!!! I would definitely recommend Petland at Waterford Lakes as a place to buy a wonderful new puppy!!!

English Bulldog puppy
My boyfriend and I purchased an English Bulldog puppy from PetLand a couple of days ago and he is the cutest thing ever! We took him to the complementary vet visit two days later and he is 100% healthy. While we were at the vet I noticed that he got a "cherry eye" from all of the excitement (which is very common in bulldog puppies) and requires surgery to correct it. In the warranty it was noted that if this did occur they would not cover the costs. I called the store and told them about the situation to see if they would be able to do anything at all to help us out. They called me back within 10 minutes and told me that they would cover the costs of the surgery. I was so excited to hear this. They staff really works with the customers to make sure every dog gets a great home and that even after the dogs have left the store they are still healthy. Also I was a little weary about going to their vet for the first complimentary vet visit. But after our first visit to East Orlando Animal Hospital I decided to keep them as our primary vet. The staff was super nice and happily answered all of my "new parent" questions. I would definitely recommend buying a dog/pet from Petland. They treated my dog and I great and I now have a healthy and happy new companion named Brutus! :) -Alison

Honest and Caring Staff
I would just like to say that I appreciate the honesty that comes from the Petland employees. I have been looking to add a puppy as a new member to our family for a while but wasn't quite sure what breed would fit in with myself and my 3 small boys. Of course we fell in love with an adorable tiny chihuahua. When I inquired about the puppy, the girl helping me informed me that even though the puppy was cute it may not be the right choice. She said a tiny puppy like that could easily be injured unintentionally by my rambunctious boys. She also told me a puppy that small requires a lot more looking after as far as eating and playing goes. Then she asked me what I was looking for in a dog! I explained how I wanted a puppy to be best friends with my boys, didn't require regular grooming and wouldn't get to big. She took the time to show me several puppies that she thought would fit my requirements and, as she put it, are sturdy enough to play with my boys. It didn't take us long to fall in love with a beautiful little beagle that we took home that day. Riley is the perfect addition to our family and we couldn't be happier. Thank you Petland.

Happy as a puppy
Never thought I'd buy a puppy from a pet store, but when I saw my new puppy I knew he was the one for me. After playing with him and talking with the staff I learned a lot I didn't know about the breeders they deal with and all the safety precautions they take with proper shots and care for the dogs. They were helpful then and after the purchase and care about the dogs they sell. They were honest about the problems the breed usually has and any issues the specific pet might have.
