English Bulldog puppy

My boyfriend and I purchased an English Bulldog puppy from PetLand a couple of days ago and he is the cutest thing ever! We took him to the complementary vet visit two days later and he is 100% healthy. While we were at the vet I noticed that he got a "cherry eye" from all of the excitement (which is very common in bulldog puppies) and requires surgery to correct it. In the warranty it was noted that if this did occur they would not cover the costs. I called the store and told them about the situation to see if they would be able to do anything at all to help us out. They called me back within 10 minutes and told me that they would cover the costs of the surgery. I was so excited to hear this. They staff really works with the customers to make sure every dog gets a great home and that even after the dogs have left the store they are still healthy. Also I was a little weary about going to their vet for the first complimentary vet visit. But after our first visit to East Orlando Animal Hospital I decided to keep them as our primary vet. The staff was super nice and happily answered all of my "new parent" questions. I would definitely recommend buying a dog/pet from Petland. They treated my dog and I great and I now have a healthy and happy new companion named Brutus! :) -Alison
